Do you think that the world wide web is being abused every single day?
So much of twaddle performed online these days, a reason why prowlers exist. A person can know so much about another stranger with just a click. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not judging because we’re all stalkers in a way.
Many channel hatred and spread rumours using this manner. Some even make publicising their daily dramas or bringing down another person a leisure pursuit. That’s what I see on a daily basis, c’mon don’t be childish.
How about those who go around adding random people on Facebook without even knowing them? We’re not in a race to see who has more friends here. How many of them do you actually know personally?
This is also how crooks/criminals prey on the innocent, or how people take advantage of loopholes to commit fraud and swindle naive individuals. Nothing ever comes free y’know? Bear that in mind.
But what I really want to talk about is not really any of the above although you have to admit, the issues mentioned are pretty critical nowadays.
The Internet is a place where we can seek any type of information we want/need worldwide to aid us in studies, to better comprehend matters we are not familiar with, as well as to broaden our knowledge. However many are exploiting it.
I think it is highly unethical when a person grabs something from the Internet and claims ownership of it. When you post items you did not produce under your account without providing credits, it’s called stealing. It is a crime.
Imagine if someone takes something you wrote/did out of inspiration and pretends it’s theirs. There are many beautiful and pretty creations, I agree. But I believe it’s the least you could do when you take something that does not belong to you?
So please, give recognition to the actual owners whom you take materials from.
