Religion has always been one of my interests. Just like how a person does not have to be a chef to enjoy good food – one does not need to practise religion in order to learn about it. I also strongly believe that religion does not make a person good, it depends on the individual alone.

An extremely devout person may not necessarily be a good person. I think it should not require something that is believed to be of a certain higher power to make mankind want to do good and be fearful of consequences if they were to act evil. Why can’t we be of sincere hearts because we want to, not because we’re supposed to?

Anyway, there are so many religions and beliefs in today’s world that it is impossible to determine which is better than the other. The fact is, there is no better one. I think each and every one of them only teaches good things, none of them are telling people to cause harm or inflict pain.

When people misinterpret or manipulate their religion into something bad and they claim that they’re doing what they’re supposed to do, that is not to be blamed on religion. It is to be blamed on those individuals who want to gain something for themselves using the wrong approach.

I also think that application forms or any type of forms that require users to fill in – should exclude the race and/or religion aspect out. I simply do not see the need for it because if you’re looking for an employee – anyone can do a good job provided they have the capability to do so and they want to do so. It is not tied down to skin colour or what their beliefs are.

Just because you are of religion A and someone else is of religion B, C, or D; it does not give you the right to criticise them or their beliefs. There is no more superior one, and you’ve got to respect that. If you’re someone who does not believe in faith or you choose not to get too involved with it, I think that’s fine provided you do not think that people who do are less better.

All bad things in this world are caused by mankind, all good things in this world are also caused by mankind. It is the matter of whether people want to make good or bad.

Every religion teaches only the values that are considered moral, each of them preaches its followers to be a good person. Yet I see riots and battles triggered by religious issues. A cow’s head, now a torched church and not forgetting smashed cars. I’m sure most of you have heard by now, it’s really disgracing and humiliating to be a part of all these.

Demeaning other religions and people’s beliefs does not make you or your religion more superior. It only shows how harebrained and asinine a person can be. Why start a feud for nothing, what good could possibly come out of this? Not to mention this big concern over the use of the word “Allah”, it’s just a word. How can it possibly threaten/shake the faith and devotion of a true follower of the religion so easily? The only thing that should be questioned is how strong is the commitment of the followers. If there is nothing to be questioned about on that, so what is the big hoo-haa actually?

This is why I always believe that a person does not have to belong to any religion to have a good heart and just because a person is religious, it doesn’t make him/her a good person. You can pray ten times a day and still be a murderer. You can say you don’t steal but you could be a rapist. The question is, who knows? So stop trying to be a hero trying to show off your “masculinity” or whatever it is by taking part in all these preposterous activities. It puts the entire nation in ultimate shame.

*Please note that the above is not directed to a specific religion/race but to all.

Anyways you know how when it’s time to send your car for servicing, it’s as though the car knows it’s time to get new “stuff” (parts) so some of them begin to rebel. First the rims, then the absorber, next was the air-cond. But I’m not even complaining, dad gets everything repaired and done hahah. Consumes a lot of money though, having a car can be quite high-maintenance if you wanna keep it at an excellent level.

I have an idea. Why not every two person share ONE car. It could be your spouse, your best friend, even your parent/sibling. Come to an agreement where the other person is in charge of driving you anywhere for a week, and then the following week the same thing but swap persons. The person in charge of driving will have the car for that week, and any other conditions can be applied according to mutual understanding.

That would save a lot of moolah, all payments (fuel, servicing, etc) will be divided into half! Also, better for the environment. Lesser air pollution, lesser noise pollution, smaller amount of vehicles on the road which will lead to reduced traffic jams, thus lower stress levels among drivers and to a better and healthier lifestyle, ain’t that great!

Just one tiny little hiccup, a car can only be registered under one name if I’m not mistaken so that could instigate some trouble if you know what I’m talking about. Well no one said life was easy. Just a crazy plan which may not work for many but could work for me :)

I love my top btw! :D
