Halloween went alright? Well I didn’t quite enjoy it this time around, probably due to lack of big amount of friends gathered or maybe it was the venue. I was at Zouk and boy, was it unpleasant. We ditched Halloween events at universities this year and the boyfriend dragged me along to the club, just to try the atmosphere on a big event out. It was sardine-packed, and let’s just say clubbing isn’t my scene. There were people queuing right up till 2am and if you don’t already know, clubs close at 3. So.. I don’t know what those people did for Halloween. Spent it queuing at Zouk?
Anyway, I was Brigitte Bardot this time! My costume + wig could have very well served me a Marilyn Monroe appearance as well, but I never really thought of it till the event was over? So yeah. But that would most probably (or maybe even definitely) be the last time I’d ever step foot into a club. I knew this about myself a long time ago and if I spend time at one, I’d be a party pooper. I would really very much prefer to be somewhere cosy and laid back, like a bar.
But it was another Halloween spent with the boyfriend, and of course a few great people
